Our History

In 1973, Richard H. Bradfield established Bradfield Associates, Inc., a full-service architectural firm devoted to quality design with an area of practice encompassing the entire Southeastern United States. In the last twenty four years, the firm’s name has changed twice to reflect the many years of dedication by Greg Richards, AIA and Tom Rhodes, AIA. Greg had been with the firm for 35 years. Tom has been with the firm for 37 years. As illustrated in the following pages, our reputation for specializing in a variety of project types is well known throughout the Atlanta area and the Southeast. The Principal of the firm, along with our staff members have dedicated their careers to the sensitive design and special needs of their clients. Our objective with any commission, regardless of size and scope, is to produce high-quality, value oriented design that ultimately produces a positive impact on the community.

Bradfield, Richards, Rhodes & Associates Architects, Inc. has experienced steady growth since its inception, attributed primarily to both design excellence and a large percentage of repeat clientele. Our high documentation standards and quick response to clients’ needs, along with technical proficiency of the professionals within the firm, has resulted in this continued support.

We have also received recognition for our work based upon the adherence to design principles that enhance and preserve the quality of life for the surrounding community. The end result for both clients and owners alike is a more satisfactory environment with the greatest impact on the real estate and the quality of life for the dollars available.
