Description
Development GA115-005 – Alabama Circle & Elder Circle:

Renovate kitchens including replacement of cabinets and counters, range hoods and back splashes, ranges and refrigerators, and painting walls, ceilings and trim – 20 Dwelling Units in Elder Circle and 12 Dwelling Units in Alabama Circle.

Renovate bathrooms including repair and painting of walls, replacement of flooring, plumbing fixtures, tub surrounds, and bath accessories – 20 Dwelling Units in Elder Circle and 12 Dwelling Units in Alabama Circle.

Removal of existing resilient flooring and installation of new VCT flooring and shoe mold – 20 Dwelling Units in Elder Circle and 12 Dwelling Units in Alabama Circle.

Replacement of existing light fixtures – 20 Dwelling Units in Elder Circle and 12 Dwelling Units in Alabama Circle.

Replace existing sidewalks to dwelling units with new walks that do not exceed 5% slope and eliminate step at porch – 20 Dwelling Units in Elder Circle and 12 Dwelling Units in Alabama Circle.

Pre-Bid Conference
Conference Date/ Time/ Location
On March 28, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. Legally Prevailing Time, a pre-bid conference will be conducted at the Elder Circle Community Center, 512 Elder Circle, Carrollton, Georgia. The purpose of the conference is to review the project, the bidding requirements, to answer any questions and to give all bidders an opportunity to visit the sites and verify existing conditions. All bidders are strongly encouraged to attend this conference.

Sealed bids shall be received until 2:00 P.M. Legally Prevailing Time, on April 11, 2019 at the Elder Circle Community Center, 512 Elder Circle, Carrollton, Georgia. At that time all bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud. Proposals submitted by mail should be addressed to the Owner at the address set out above and plainly marked as indicated in the “Instructions to Bidders.” All proposals submitted by mail will be collected at the above mentioned mailing address at 1:00 P.M. Legally Prevailing Time, on the day mentioned above and taken to the Elder Circle Community Center. There they will be opened.

Document Ordering Information

Copies of bid documents, including drawings and specifications, may be obtained by prime contractors, subcontractors, or material suppliers from the Architect at the address indicated below for a NON-REFUNDABLE CHARGE OF $ 65.00 per set. The document charge shall be submitted in the form of a Company Check, Certified Check, Cashier’s Check or Money Order made payable to the Architect. Checks shall be drawn on a financial institution insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). No documents will be issued by the Architect until the document charge has been received and no partial sets will be issued. To allow for reproduction and delivery, anyone desiring to pick up a set of bid documents from the Architect’s office must call Architect’s office a minimum of 24 hours in advance to place the order. Requests for documents shall be accompanied by a street address, telephone number and shall identify the purchaser as a prime contractor, subcontractor, or material supplier. Also, provide the current E-mail address where addenda may be forwarded.
